If this is done, legal action will be taken against the organizers as well as the DJ operators. This is what Chas SDPO Praveen Kumar Singh has to say.
He was giving information to journalists after holding a meeting of the peace committee at Chas police station on Thursday. He said that small children have been requested not to be allowed to enter the water during immersion. It has been asked to take every safety measure at the time of immersion.
The police, in collaboration with the district administration, is making arrangements for divers at important places. Vigilance is being taken in every way. Those organizing the puja have been asked not to play DJ at the time of immersion. Citing the orders of the High Court, it has been asked to follow it.
DJ operators have also been called and given strict instructions to follow the law. The last date for idol immersion has been fixed as January 26. Under any circumstances, all the committees have been asked to immerse the idol by 6 pm on 26th.
Preventive action has also been taken against many. Here, to deal with any special situation, a mock drill was organized in the police line. Through this the police showed a glimpse of their preparations. This was also seen as a rehearsal. City DSP Alok Ranjan, Sergeant Major Pranav Kumar and others were present during the mock drill.
