Jagran correspondent, Dehradun. School Closed The weather has once again changed in Uttarakhand and the period of rain and snowfall has started, due to which the severity of cold has increased.
The district administration has become alert due to the changing nature of the weather. Amid orange alert of heavy rain and snowfall in six districts of Uttarakhand, DMs of all the districts have declared holiday in schools and Anganwadi centers on Wednesday.
The National Disaster Alert Portal has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places, thunder and lightning and moderate snowfall along with intense to very intense spells of rainfall on Wednesday. In view of this, Orange Alert has been issued.
Keeping in mind the severe weather conditions, the administration of all the six districts has declared a one-day holiday in all the educational institutions and Anganwadi centers running from classes 1 to 12 as a precautionary measure.

Almora. The weather changed again from Tuesday afternoon in the district headquarters and surrounding areas. The temperature has dropped due to cold wind along with drizzling rain.
In view of the Orange Alert of the Meteorological Department, District Magistrate Anshul Singh had declared holiday in educational institutions and Anganwadi centers on Wednesday.

Rudrapur. The weather changed again on Tuesday. There was sunshine in the morning and then it became cloudy in the afternoon, but by evening it started raining.
Here, due to the forecast of change in weather on Wednesday also, the district administration has declared holiday in all government, semi-government, private schools and Anganwadi centers from class 1 to 12.
