School Holiday Declared Due To Dense Fog, DM Agra Issued Order

Jagran correspondent, Agra. After receiving an alert of no sunshine throughout the day and dense fog, the District Magistrate Agra has issued an order for closure of schools on Thursday evening. The Meteorological Department says that a big drop in temperature may be seen on Friday.

On the instructions of DM Arvind Mallappa Bangari, BSA Jitendra Kumar Gond has issued an order for holiday in schools from classes 1 to 8 on Friday in view of the cold wave and severe cold. This order will be effective on all board schools.

Action will be taken against the school which does not follow this at the administration level. The Meteorological Department says that there was not much drop in the minimum temperature on Thursday but due to the maximum temperature falling below, there was a cold day like condition for the first time in this season. Similar weather conditions may remain on Friday also.
