'Mohammed Deepak' Is Receiving Threats In Kotdwar, Area Converted Into Police Cantonment

Communication Assistant, Kotdwar. After revealing his name as Mohammad Deepak, the series of threats being received by Kotdwar resident Deepak Kumar, which are being circulated on the internet media, is not stopping.

On Wednesday, a person claiming to be a Hindu leader circulated a video calling on all Hindu organizations to reach Kotdwar on Thursday and enter Deepak's gym and vandalize it.

As a result, while there was heavy police checking at Kauriya check post on Thursday, police was seen at every nook and corner in the area too. However, no such incident took place in the area till evening.

Let us tell you that on January 26, there was a dispute regarding changing the name of the shop in Patel Marg. During the dispute, Deepak was seen standing in favor of shop owner lawyer Ahmed.

During this, he introduced himself as Mohammad Deepak, the video of which went viral on the internet media. After this the whole matter took a political colour. On the one hand, on January 31, youths from outside areas who identified themselves as VHP and Bajrang Dal workers organized a procession and protest in the city and blocked the road.

At the same time, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and many other big leaders praised Deepak and called him the hero of the country. It would not be wrong to say that along with political parties, different organizations are trying to capitalize on this matter in their own way.

On Wednesday, a video of Lalit Sharma, who calls himself a Hindu leader, was circulated, in which Lalit is seen calling upon various Hindu organizations of the state and the country to reach Kotdwar on February 12 and teach Deepak a lesson.

On the basis of the complaint given by Deepak against Lalit, the police registered a case against Lalit last night.

Here, due to the call given by Lalit, the police was seen fully prepared at Kaudiya check post and other places since Thursday morning.

Kotdwar sub-district magistrate Sandeep Kumar, Lansdowne sub-district magistrate Shalini Maurya, Additional Superintendent of Police Chandramohan, police area officer Niharika Semwal, Anuj Kumar and police from various police stations were present at the Kaudiya check post.

During this time, every vehicle entering the border of the area was being searched intensively.
