Khamano Tehsildar Ramandeep Kaur suspended
Samvad Sutra, Khamano (Fatehgarh Sahib). Punjab government has suspended Tehsildar Ramandeep Kaur of Khamano tehsil of Fatehgarh Sahib district with immediate effect. This action has been taken in view of administrative reasons and continuous complaints being received against him.
Ramandeep Kaur was accused of irregularities in property registries. During the suspension period, his headquarters will be Rupnagar Deputy Commissioner's office. Orders in this regard have been issued by the Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Department of the Punjab Government. According to the orders issued by Anurag Verma, Additional Chief Secretary of the department, this action has been taken keeping in mind administrative reasons.
It has been said in the orders issued that Ramandeep Kaur, Tehsildar Khamano is suspended from service with immediate effect. During the period of suspension his headquarters office has been fixed as Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar.
According to sources, complaints were continuously reaching the government against Tehsildar Ramandeep Kaur for a long time. Many questions were also being raised regarding his functioning and administrative methods. Especially in Khamano tehsil, people were expressing their dissatisfaction regarding the property registries and irregularities were also coming to light in many cases. Keeping in mind all these complaints and questions arising, this strict step has been taken by the Punjab Government.
