State Bureau, New Delhi. The two-day first DDA Green Expo 2026 will be held at Delhi Development Authority (DDA)'s Bansera Park from Saturday. Senior officials, urban planners, climate experts and industry leaders will gather to shape the next phase of sustainable urban development. The expo will be inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, and DDA Vice Chairman N Saravana Kumar will deliver the welcome speech.

The theme of the expo is "Beyond Growth: Reimagining the Urban Future." Its focus will be on how Indian cities can move from an expansion-based development model to climate change resilience, ecological restoration and people-centric planning. There will be expert sessions on topics such as extreme heat and flood resilience, nature-based infrastructure and circular food systems. In addition, effective ways to address urban challenges, including innovative financing for green cities, will be discussed.

DDA, in collaboration with the National School of Drama (NSD), will launch Rangbag, a community theater initiative for children in parks. Meanwhile, a major partnership with Delhi University will accelerate urban ecology research and engage youth. A collaboration will also be formed with Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA).
