Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Like some selected universities abroad, students in Lucknow too will now be able to study in a lush green environment on the rooftop of the campus. LDA is going to build the city's first green roof library. This library will be a part of the Urban Park-The Garden of Five Senses, which LDA is building in an area of ​​twenty acres.

On Thursday, LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar inspected this park. This park will also have the city's first green roof library as well as a one-acre water body, jogging track and sports arena.

LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar said that an urban park is being developed at a cost of Rs 28 crore on the green belt land near the Cancer Hospital. The attractive design of the green roof library here will attract people's attention. About 600 meter long jogging track and pathway will be developed in the park. Apart from this, there will be an open gym and a kids-play area for children, in which attractive swings will be installed.

A sports arena will also be developed here, which will have facilities for badminton, basketball, tennis courts, box cricket etc. This sports arena will be developed on the side of the park, so that people from outside can also enter the arena directly. There will be a fragrance garden on the banks of the waterbody.

Apart from this, an amphitheater and food court with a capacity of about 300 people will also be built. Different equipment will be installed in the park. Through which children will be able to experience activities like sight, touch, sound, smell and taste etc.

Construction of drains and multilevel parking in CG City Scheme

Under the CG City scheme, a one and a half kilometer long drain is being constructed at a cost of about Rs 38 crore for drainage. The Vice President inspected the drain being constructed near Ekana Stadium and wetland. During the inspection of CSI Tower, when irregularities were found in the operation of the lift here, the Vice President has given instructions to take action against the concerned organization M/s Aslam Aga.

LDA has started the construction of multilevel parking near the plots of Fine Dine Scheme behind Ekana Cricket Stadium in CG City. Vice President Prathamesh Kumar also inspected the parking lot under construction. There will be greenery on the roof of this double basement parking and horticulture work will be done. The Vice President said that more than 500 vehicles can be parked at a time in the multilevel parking.
