State Bureau, Jagran. There is a consensus between BJP and JDU on the issue that the government should acquire the illegal property acquired in the name of RJD President Lalu Prasad and his relatives and use it in public interest.

On Friday, senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary had expressed this opinion while talking to a private channel. On Saturday, JDU's chief spokesperson and Legislative Council member Neeraj Kumar agreed to this.

Central agencies should seize the property

Neeraj said that Lalu Yadav's illegally acquired property should be confiscated by central agencies. Schools should be opened in houses. These can also be used as orphanages and hostels for different categories of students. Today, Lalu Prasad is the biggest landlord of this state.

He has earned all this in return for providing government facilities. The case of getting land registered in exchange of job is still going on in the court.

Not a direct claimant to many properties

Earlier, Samrat Chaudhary had said that if schools are opened in Lalu Prasad's houses then poor and needy children will benefit from it. He said that there are many such properties in the city for which no direct claimant is coming forward. There is one such building near Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, which has been locked for the last 20 years. Central agencies ED and CBI have already attached the properties of Lalu Prasad.
