Schools Will Open In Himachal From February 12, New Rules Will Also Be Implemented Along With Studies.

State Bureau, Shimla. Himachal's winter vacation schools will open from February 12. There will be regular studies in schools from the first day of the new session. A letter in this regard has been issued to schools by Director School Education Department Ashish Kohli.

The Education Department clarified in the letter that there should not be any wastage of time in the academic session at any level. Work will be done to remove the shortcomings of children in schools. Instructed the Deputy Director, Principals of Complex Schools and officials of the concerned Block Primary Education Offices to conduct surprise inspection of the schools.

During inspection, it should be seen whether the instructions are being followed or not. Are classes being held regularly in schools? The children have got the books. The attendance of teachers will also be monitored. If anyone disobeys the rules, action will be taken against him.

These changes will also be implemented

There will be a ban on bringing mobile phones, smart watches, headphones, tablets, music players and hand held gaming devices in schools during winter vacation from the first day itself. This rule has come into effect from January 1st in schools having summer vacations. If students come to school with these devices, they will be confiscated. Besides, the department can also impose fine as financial penalty.

Teachers are advised not to use mobile phones during class, laboratory, examination or any academic activity. They will be allowed to use mobile phones only for digital learning materials, attendance, learning apps and official school functions. It will be mandatory to keep the mobile phone on silent mode. Use of internet media, gaming or entertainment related content will be prohibited without permission.
