Scope Of Green Cess Tax Increased In Uttarakhand, This Scheme Will Be Implemented At 15 Entry Points From February 15

Now it is going to be implemented on other checkposts located on the state border also. In this regard, trials have also started in Asharodi, Bhagwanpur, Nadehi and Rudrapur.

The transport department plans to implement the green cess scheme at all 15 major entry points by February 15.

Vehicles coming from other states will be identified through Automated Number Plate Recognition (APNR) cameras installed at these places and the prescribed amount of green cess will be collected from the Fastag installed on them.
