SEO Took To The Streets To Check The Reality Of Contaminated Water In Greater Noida, Conducted Inspection In Delta One Sector

Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. After Indore, the incident of people falling ill due to contaminated water supply in Delta One sector of Greater Noida has broken the laxity of the Greater Noida Authority officials.

Authority's ACEO Sunil Kumar Singh himself reached Delta One Sector on Thursday and inquired with the people regarding water supply. The ACEO also met RWA officials and took information. The authority had collected samples from the homes of those complaining about contaminated water and sent them to the lab for testing on Wednesday.

Leakage and connection problems were found in the pipeline at two places. It was rectified on Wednesday itself. The authority has appealed to give information on the mobile numbers of Senior Manager Water (9205691408) and Manager Water (8937024017) in case of contaminated water supply in Greater Noida area.

Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar has also given instructions to conduct random testing of water from all places in Greater Noida soon. The Water Department is preparing to conduct random testing of water from all places.

The authority itself will get the water tested at the places where the authority supplies it. In builders societies and housing societies, the management committee i.e. builder or AOA will have to get the investigation done. The investigation report will have to be submitted to the water department of the authority. Instructions have also been given to conduct investigation in industrial, commercial, IT and institutional sectors.
