Jagran correspondent, Fatehpur. The police have arrested an accused who committed gang rape on the pretext of marriage and sent him to jail, while the police is searching for his real brother.
The victim told that Shailesh alias Baura, resident of Ravana Maidan of Dhata town, raped her on the pretext of marriage and kept harassing her for two years. The victim said in her statement that she was a minor at the time of the incident and along with the accused, her brother also raped her.
On the basis of the statement, the police increased the section of gang rape and POCSO Act and arrested Shailesh alias Baura on Sunday morning. SO Arvind Kumar Rai said that after sending the accused Shailesh to jail, the absconding accused is being searched.
