Jagran correspondent, Amroha. A case has come to light where an innocent three and a half year old girl playing outside the house was lured and taken near a canal by an unknown accused and raped. The incident took place in a village under Saidangali police station area.
Where a married woman is living with her daughter at her father's house. According to the relatives, the victim was playing outside the house on Tuesday evening, during which some unknown person lured her and took her to a canal outside the village, raped her and ran away leaving the victim there in a critical condition.
When the girl did not reach home till late night, the family members were searching for her here and there. There was a sensation in the village when the girl was found lying in a critical condition on the canal bank. After informing the police, his relatives took him to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
On receiving the information, station in-charge Vikas Sehrawat reached the spot with the police force. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Superintendent of Police visited the spot late at night. They have formed several police teams to trace and arrest the accused.
Police are examining the footage of CCTV installed in the village. Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand said that it has come to light that a three and a half year old girl was raped by an unknown person. Teams have been formed for investigation. FIR has been registered.
