Jagran Correspondent, Lucknow: Amidst the coming together of the Thackeray family regarding the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) faction is trying to strengthen the NDA in Uttar Pradesh. National Chief Coordinator of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) Dr. Abhishek Verma reached Lucknow on Tuesday on a one-day visit.
Dr. Abhishek Verma held an important strategic meeting with state officials regarding the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. In the meeting, he directed the state organization to intensify the campaign to connect youth, people associated with Hindutva and nationalist ideology with the party. He said that Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde party does ideology based politics and nationalism and Hindutva are its basic pillars.
Dr. Abhishek Verma said that the party organization in Uttar Pradesh is being strengthened up to the booth, sector, assembly and Lok Sabha level. A strategy is being made in collaboration with NDA for the upcoming Panchayat elections. He clarified that the party is committed to bringing the youth forward in politics.
Youth will be given priority in Panchayat elections and eligible workers associated with Hindutva and nationalist ideology will be given tickets. He called upon the workers to strengthen the organization by keeping the national interest paramount, make public service their goal and take active participation in the campaign to make the country self-reliant and empowered under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr. Abhishek Verma participated as the chief guest in the 13th resolution day ceremony of Nishad Party in Lucknow. During this, he assured the National President of Nishad Party and Cabinet Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Shri Sanjay Nishad that in Uttar Pradesh as well as Maharashtra, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and Nishad Party will work together at the cadre level, which will further strengthen the NDA alliance.
Told BJP as elder brother
Regarding NDA alliance, Dr. Abhishek Verma said that Bharatiya Janata Party is our elder brother. Shiv Sena is his younger brother. Whatever instructions elder brother gives us, we work accordingly. He said that the ideology of our party and BJP is nationalism and Hindutva.
On the strength of this ideology, the NDA government has been formed in the country since 2014 and is continuously gaining the trust of the public. He further said that in many states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) party is working shoulder to shoulder with BJP and will continue to do so.
