Jagran correspondent, Patna. Virat Ramayana Temple is being constructed in East Champaran by Mahavir Temple Trust, Patna. The world's largest Shivalinga will be installed in the Virat Ramayana temple being built in Kaithwalia on Chakia-Kesaria path.

Shivalinga was sent by road from Mahabalipuram on 21st November. Which has reached Madhya Pradesh via Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. Shivling has so far traveled about 1635 kilometers. Shivling can reach Virat Ramayana temple by January 4. Devotees are welcoming and worshiping Shivalinga during the yatra.

Mahavir Sthan Trust Committee Secretary Sayan Kunal said that after Madhya Pradesh, Shivling will enter Uttar Pradesh. Shivalinga will enter Bihar via Banaras and Mohania. In Bihar, Virat will reach Ramayana temple via Arrah, Chhapra, Masrakh, Mohammadpur, Kajaria, Kesariya.

Shivlinga will be welcomed at 10 to 15 places in Bihar. He said that the construction of Shivalinga was going on in Pattikadu village of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu for the last ten years. The 33 feet Shivalinga is a black granite stone.

The temple will be 1080 feet long and 540 feet wide.

The size of the temple will be 1080 feet long and 540 feet wide. There will be a total of 18 peaks and 22 temples in it. The height of the main peak will be 270 feet, height of four peaks will be 180 feet, height of one peak will be 135 feet, height of eight peaks will be 108 feet and height of one peak will be 90 feet.
