Juice manufacturing industry accused of not paying salaries

A juice manufacturing industry named Yeti Global, located in Lodimajra, industrial area BBN, has been facing serious allegations of not paying salaries to its employees for several months. Troubled by non-payment of salaries, the employees first approached the labor office, but due to lack of satisfactory action from there, they have now sent a complaint on the CM helpline and sought justice.
The employees say that they worked regularly in the industry for many months, yet they were not paid even a single month's salary. Due to lack of salary, it has become difficult for the employees to survive in the industrial city BBN. Employees are going through financial and mental stress due to rent, ration and family responsibilities.
Arun Kumar, Ashish Kumar Rana, residents of Kangra district, and Shammi Lomash, resident of Patiala, Punjab, have lodged a complaint in the labor office. He told that the company management continued to delay in paying salaries. Every time the payment was postponed by making new excuses. Employees say that when they pressed for salaries, the attitude of the management became even harsher.
Arun Kumar, working as utility in-charge, said that he worked in the company for about six months, but did not receive salary for this entire period. When he lodged a complaint with the Labor Department, the company management, out of revenge, lodged a false complaint of theft against him at Manpura police station.
According to Arun Kumar, the police reached his house and also searched it, due to which his entire family became mentally disturbed. However, the police dropped him from the case after the investigation found nothing wrong. Arun Kumar says that he is being continuously mistreated by the industry management and attempts are being made to intimidate him.
After not getting justice from the Labor Department, he along with other employees has also lodged a complaint on the CM Helpline. The aggrieved workers have warned that if their case is not heard soon and the outstanding wages are not paid, they will protest outside the industry. Along with this, they are also ready to take this entire matter to the court. The employees say that they will not back down from this fight until they get the full amount of their rights.
Labor Officer, Baddi Amit Kumar told that the employees of the industry had come to him. Following his complaint, notices have been issued to the industry. A reply will be awaited from their side. Yeti Global Industries Manager Abhay Khade said that he is currently in an important meeting.
Director of Yeti Global Industries, Sunil Kumar told that he is a partner in the industry and the major partner is Abhay, who is looking after the entire management. It is necessary to pay salaries to industry workers. There was some dispute going on among the partners regarding the industry, due to which some problems had arisen.
