The driver of a speeding car hit a tempo and ran away, two died and five were injured in the accident.
Communication partner, Jalandhar. Near village Raipur on Jalandhar to Bhogpur highway, a speeding Innova car driver hit the tempo hard and fled from the spot. The collision was so severe that the tempo overturned and was badly damaged.
In the accident, two people traveling in the tempo died on the spot, while five others were seriously injured. After the accident, the traffic on the highway was disrupted due to the damaged tempo standing in the middle of the road and the pedestrians had to face a lot of trouble in getting out.
This information was given to the road safety force by the passersby. As soon as the information was received, the Road Safety Force team reached the spot. Investigating officer ASI Satnam Singh took the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment and informed the concerned police station about the incident. After receiving the information, the police of Maqsudan police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
