Jagran correspondent, Meerut. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada suspended two sub-inspectors and a head constable who were found missing from duty at the jail octroi during checking late in the evening. He said that disobedience and indifference will not be tolerated under any circumstances. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada came out on Wednesday evening to check the security arrangements in the city. Going to the jail octroi, he took information about the policemen deployed on duty. It was told that Medical Station Inspector Sachin Kumar, Head Constable Jitendra and Inspector Niranjan Singh sent on duty from the police line are not present. SSP ordered immediate suspension of all three. Car ran over divider when bike came in front at Gumpul.

Between Zero Miles and Begumpul late on Wednesday evening, the driver lost control when the bike suddenly came in front of the Swift car. The car climbed onto the divider. Police immediately reached the spot and took the car and the two teenagers in it into custody. During investigation, both of them had not consumed alcohol.

Swift car was coming from Zero Miles on Wednesday night. Suddenly the car climbed the divider. This caused a stir. The traffic police and other policemen deployed at Begumpul immediately reached the spot. They took the car rider, Aman son of Zulfikar, resident of Lisadigate, and his two other companions into custody. The car was also removed with a crane and taken into possession. Medical examination of the three teenagers traveling in the car was done.

All three had not consumed drugs. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that the police is interrogating all three. The vehicle is being examined. In another incident, a car collided with a scooter. However, no one was harmed in this. After convincing the people nearby, the car and scooter riders left.
