Digital Desk, New Delhi. Indian-origin Prashant Sreekumar died of a heart attack after waiting for 8 hours in a Canadian hospital. American influencer Andrew Branca made fun of Prashant Sreekumar's death on social media. He described Srikumar as an Indian invader and said that he could have taken advantage of the 'poor Indian health care' by staying in Mumbai.
In fact, despite severe chest pain, 44-year-old Prashant Sreekumar kept waiting in the waiting area of Gray Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton. During this time he died of cardiac arrest.
Prashant Sreekumar's death sparked outrage over the alleged negligence of the hospital. According to his family, he was complaining of frequent pain and his blood pressure was dangerously high, yet he received minimal care. Finally, when he was called for treatment, he collapsed within a few seconds and died.
