Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered that the land of any poor or weak person should not be encroached upon. If any professional person encroaches, then strict action should be taken against him under the Anti Land Mafia Act and a report should be sent to the government.

A task force should be formed in every tehsil to take action against illegal encroachers. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandad gave these instructions to all the SDMs in the review meeting of the Revenue Department held at the Collectorate on Wednesday.

He said that action should be taken by launching a campaign against those who illegally encroach on government land. Illegal occupation of even an inch of government land will not be tolerated. Police help should also be taken to free the land from encroachment, so that if any person protests, action can be taken against him and peace can be maintained at the spot.

Apart from this, he gave instructions to take strict action against those who adulterate food items. He said that adulteration of food items is a matter related to human safety, no person's health should be played with.

Weekly review meetings should be held in every tehsil, so that there is no difference between the actual situation and the data recorded on the portal. During the meeting, the District Magistrate reviewed other works related to the Revenue Department including tax-non-tax, model action plan, monthly status of enforcement works, status of implementation of ownership scheme, status of disposal of audit objections.

He said that publicity should be spread to make people aware about Farmer Registry and PM Surya Ghar Yojana and the complaints of the complainants should be listened to carefully and resolved in Janata Darshan.
