Frightened by this incident, the local people maintained silence, but a local leader sent a video clip of the miscreants' actions to the police officials, citing fear for his life. On this, SSP Pramod Kumar Yadav directed Mojahidpur police station incharge to verify the video and ensure the arrest of the miscreants.
Kallu Miyan was named in the murder case
Mojahidpur police station incharge investigated and identified the two miscreants seen in the video and raided their house, but they absconded as soon as they got information about the video going viral.
Mojahidpur Inspector said that Kallu Mian, who was brandishing a pistol, was named in the murder case, and was taken under protection by the police because he was a juvenile. He also got the benefit of being a teenager in the hearing of the case, due to which he came out.
Second criminal identified as Sikandar
Police have identified the second criminal seen in the video as Muhammad Sikandar alias Sikka, who was standing with a bomb in his hand. At the behest of the person waving the pistol, he placed the bomb in his hand and then threw it towards the sky.
As soon as the bomb fell, there was a loud explosion and gunpowder smoke spread all around. The police team has not been able to identify the third criminal, but efforts are on to identify him with the help of the technical cell.
