Jagran correspondent, Simbhaoli. The number of attacks by cats, monkeys and dogs in the block area has not reduced even in the winter season. From December 21 to February 4, these animals have attacked 900 people. These attacks included both stray and pet dogs and cats. All the injured have been given anti-rabies vaccine.

Dr. Amit Baisla, in-charge of Sikhera CHC (Community Health Centre) said that rabies virus is very dangerous. Therefore, it is important to get anti-rabies vaccine immediately after being bitten by a dog, monkey, cat or any other animal. Emergency facilities are available 24 hours a day at CHC.

The doctor warned that such patients should not go to private hospitals, because anti-rabies vaccine is available only in government hospitals. It is noteworthy that on September 21, 2025, a girl playing outside her house in Ratupura village was attacked by a pack of dogs.

Apart from this, a group of monkeys seriously injured villagers in Luhari village of Bahadurgarh police station area. Local people say that the terror of monkeys and dogs is increasing day by day. The number of vaccines administered in government hospitals confirms these figures.
