Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. In BRA Bihar University, the examination form is being filled till two days before the commencement of the examination. Keeping in mind the decision of the examination board, the same thing has been happening in the last few days from graduation to PG examinations till the last moment.
Even on the date issued by the university, the college enrolled students do not fill the examination form. Even after the date expires without late fee and then with late fee, many colleges request to open the portal for a day or two citing student interest. On this basis their application is considered by the university.
The portal has also been opened for the graduation first semester examination till 3 pm on Tuesday. Even before this, there is a rush to fill the forms till the last moment for PG to graduation examinations. If you fill the form till the last moment, there is a possibility of error in the result or error in the admit card. Many times the university does not even get information about the number of students.
Colleges do not provide fee details even after filling the form. Questions are being raised repeatedly when given the opportunity to fill the form again after the expiry of the date. Earlier, when the process of filling the examination form in the vocational course was going on, in the meantime the portal was opened for enrollment. The university said that it will open a portal in the name of filling seats.
On the other hand, in the recent meeting of the Examination Board, the University has decided to stop the process of filling the form 10 days before the commencement of the examination. It was decided that action would be taken against such colleges. Despite this, it is not being followed by the examination department. It is being told that private colleges enroll students and fill the forms till the last moment.
In last year's examinations, the form continued to be filled till a day before the commencement of the examination. Due to this, the number of students could not be estimated. Last year, the question papers in the graduation examination had also reduced in many centres. Controller of Examinations Dr. Ram Kumar said that strict instructions will be issued to the colleges that they should fill the form and provide the details within the stipulated period.
