Jagran correspondent, Farrukhabad. Inspector Vivek Kumar Rana, posted in the police line, is living in the hall and rooms on the upper floor of the District Cooperative Farrukhabad office in Mohalla Retganj of Kadrigate police station area.

On Thursday evening, he had a dispute with his 45-year-old wife Sadhna Singh over some issue. People nearby heard loud noises coming from the house. After some time, Sadhna Singh fell down from the window. Hearing the screams, people gathered nearby. Inspector Vivek Kumar took his injured wife to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital located at Awas Vikas Colony in an e-rickshaw at 6 pm. He informed that his wife was ill.

Dr. Abhishek Chaturvedi gave him first aid. Meanwhile, Inspector Vivek Kumar Rana left the hospital. The doctor told that Sadhna's spine and leg were broken. Six stitches have been placed on the wound in the leg. Due to his serious condition, he has been referred to a higher centre.

Sadhna told that she is a resident of village Pachhiya of Bisauli police station of Badaun district. It was her husband who threw her off the roof. He is addicted to drugs. Even at her son's wedding, her husband had beaten her. Kadrigate police station in-charge Kapil Kumar Chaudhary also reached Lohia hospital. CO City Aishwarya Upadhyay closed the room and recorded the statement of the woman.
