In the Habibullah Nagar ward of the local Nagar Panchayat, thieves held a knife to the neck of a woman sleeping in the house and made away with the jewelery and five thousand rupees in cash kept in the pillow. In the same ward, they entered the room of a woman sleeping with three children, held a knife to the throat of one of the children and took away Rs 25,000 in cash and jewelery worth lakhs.
The victim called dial 112 in the night itself and informed about the incident. After which the police arrived and are busy investigating.
