Jagran correspondent, Muzaffarpur. Crowds of youth are reaching the District Registration and Counseling Center located in Muzaffarpur Sikandarpur, Bihar to avail the benefits of the Chief Minister Nishchay Self Help Allowance Scheme.
Under this scheme, unemployed youth aged 20 to 25 years who have passed inter-graduation are being given Rs 1,000 per month for two years as assistance while searching for employment.
So far 42 thousand 714 youth have applied in the district. After scrutiny of papers, 39 thousand 849 were approved. 2833 applications were canceled as the documents were not found correct.
Whereas 36 thousand 891 youth are being given one thousand rupees every month. So far, about Rs 47.47 crore has been distributed among the youth under this scheme.
Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme
Under this, an interest-free education loan of Rs 4 lakh is being given to the students of 12th (10th class for ITI/Polytechnic), graduation, post graduation, LA, B.Ed etc. Till now 29 thousand 444 youth have applied. Of these, loans of 21 thousand 175 applicants have been approved. Loans have been given to 18 thousand 321 students.
These documents are mandatory to avail the benefits of the scheme
Marksheet of 10th and Intermediate, SLC-CLC of Intermediate, Bank Passbook, Aadhar Card, Residence Certificate and a passport photo are mandatory.
Self-help allowance scheme, student credit card scheme etc. are being run by the government for the youth. The youth are being made more and more aware to avail the benefits of this scheme. The process of providing assistance is being completed rapidly and assistance and loan amount is being given to the applicants.
