Jagran correspondent, Bahraich. Forest department shooters also killed the sixth wolf after a two-hour siege in Kaiserganj range on Sunday. This is the second success of the Forest Department within 24 hours. Within three months, 11 people, including nine children, have died in wolf attacks, while 32 people have been injured.
Villagers have felt relieved after hearing about the death of wolves for two consecutive days. One year old girl RV was abducted by a wolf in Jarua village of Kaiserganj range on Saturday morning. Late in the evening, his body's remains were found a kilometer away from the house.
Meanwhile, the forest department team killed a wolf. Even after this the forest department continued the search operation. On Sunday late evening, the location of the wolf was found in the river bed in Jarua village of Godhiya number four. So far the forest department has succeeded in killing six wolves. DFO Bahraich Ramsingh Yadav said that after tracing the wolf has been killed.
