Samvad Sutra, Taraiya (Saran). A shocking case has come to light in Taraiya police station area, where a few days after the FIR is registered, the concerned accused are being called by fraudsters and demanding money.
The thugs are trying to scare and confuse people by pretending to be police station personnel and sometimes SP office officials. They are pressurizing them to transfer the money immediately by making excuses like expenses, issue of warrant, deposit of fine etc.
atmosphere of panic among people
Surprisingly, the mobile numbers on which calls are being made are the same numbers that are mentioned in the relevant FIR. Due to this, the question has arisen as to how this information is reaching the cyber criminals. Whether data is being leaked anywhere or information is being obtained through any other means has become a matter of investigation.
There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to such cases continuously coming to light. Many people get nervous on hearing the name of a police station or a high officer and can become a victim of fraud in a hurry. Local people have demanded from the administration that strict action should be taken by identifying such cyber gangs and the security of data related to the FIR should be ensured.
