Weather patterns changed in Delhi-NCR. Awakening
State Bureau, New Delhi. Due to the impact of strong western disturbance, the weather took a drastic turn in NCR including the capital on Friday. People in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad were facing trouble due to rising heat till a day ago, but within 12 hours everything changed.
Black clouds were rolling and roaring in the sky, while strong winds seemed desperate to shake everything. The rain also gained momentum in the morning and continued till afternoon. In such a situation, the roads became as dark as in the evening during the day. Car-bike riders were seen moving with their vehicle lights on.
Temperature will drop on Saturday also
Another round of rain started in the evening. More or less the same situation was seen in the districts of NCR also. The Meteorological Department predicts that due to the effect of this seasonal change, the cold may increase once again in Delhi and NCR. There will be a drop in temperature again from Saturday. Dense dark clouds had covered Delhi and NCR since late Friday night. Early in the morning the thundering clouds indicated that the rain and strong winds were not going to stop. Due to dark clouds, the light remained very low even after daybreak, due to which visibility reduced and the drivers had to face problems on the road.

Surprisingly, despite heavy rainfall in Delhi, neither the temperature dropped much nor there was much rainfall till 8.30 am. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Delhi on Friday was 13.7 degrees Celsius, 6.2 degrees more than the normal.
A day earlier on Thursday it was 6.3 degrees. That means the difference more than doubled within 24 hours. The maximum temperature was recorded at 16.0 degrees Celsius, 4.3 degrees below normal. A day earlier on Thursday it was 27.1 degrees i.e. the highest in seven years in January.
Meaning, within 24 hours it recorded a decrease of more than 11 degrees. On the other hand, it is also surprising that due to this sudden change in the weather, the difference between minimum and maximum temperature on Friday also reduced from four degrees to only 3.7 degrees. In Mayur Vihar this difference remained only 0.1 degrees.
