Swaraj Shukla told in the complaint given to the police that he lives in Delhi and does business. Wanted to buy land for farming in the village. During this time, Jagdamba Shukla of the same village contacted him. Explaining the need for money, he talked about selling his land. After this, he showed the land located in Hariharpur and finalized the deal for Rs 5 lakh by showing documents claiming to be his.
On October 21, 2025, he bought the land by paying Rs 2 lakh and 1 lakh 70 thousand in his bank account and Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand in cash. After this, on October 26, when he came to get the land embanked, Lilavati, wife of Nageshwar from the same village, stopped him. The woman told that she had already purchased the said land from Jagdamba Shukla on May 21, 2025 and was also in possession of it.
When I talked to the accused about this and asked for the money back, he abused me and threatened to kill me. Inspector in-charge Jayant Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated by Unwal outpost in-charge.
