State Bureau, Jagran, Dehradun. The Health Department is going to fill a total of 1046 vacant posts of Ward Boy and Environment Mitra in various medical units of the state through outsource soon. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has instructed the departmental officers to fill these posts soon. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the state government is continuously working to strengthen and expand health services in the state. Along with development of infrastructure, availability of modern medical equipment and strengthening of human resources in hospitals, cleanliness system is also being strengthened.
He said that the proposed recruitment includes 680 posts of Ward Boy and 366 posts of Paryavaran Mitra. The vacant posts of Ward Boy include 89 in Haridwar, 196 in Nainital, 40 in Pauri, 131 in Chamoli, 38 in Uttarkashi, 31 in Almora, 10 in Bageshwar, 99 in Pithoragarh, 25 in Champawat and 21 in the Directorate General of Health.

Whereas among the posts of environment friend, Haridwar 21, Nainital 136, Pauri 37, Chamoli 43, Uttarkashi 36, Almora 16, Bageshwar 15, Pithoragarh 43, Champawat 15 and four posts are vacant in the Directorate General of Health. He said that instructions have been given to the officials to select outsourced agency and provide appointment to the youth soon.
