Keshav Tyagi, Hapur. Late on Wednesday night, thieves committed a major theft in a house in Upaida village of Babugarh police station area. They also stole cash, gold and silver jewelery and recording units of cameras installed in the rooms. The victim's family has given a written complaint of theft in the police station. The victim suspects that his cousins are involved in the theft. The police is investigating the matter
In the police report, Anil Kumar, son of Mahendra Singh of Upaidha village, told that on December 11 at around 6:30 pm, he and his entire family had gone to his brother-in-law's birthday party in Sanghan village of Meerut district. When he returned home around 9:15 am on Friday morning, he saw that the window of the back gate was open. On going inside the whole house was in disarray. The doors of the rooms were open and cupboards and bedding items were scattered.
Investigation revealed that the thieves had stolen Rs 50,000, gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees and DVR from all the rooms of the house. The victim's family alleges that this theft was done by their cousins. The land dispute with him is going on in the court for a long time. Babugarh police station in-charge Inspector Munish Pratap Chauhan said that the matter is being investigated on the basis of the complaint. The footage of CCTV cameras installed near the incident site is being viewed. The incident will be solved soon.
