Technology Desk, New Delhi. itel A100 is going to be launched in India soon. itel shared the official teaser of the upcoming A-series phone on Friday. The teaser reveals the design, color options and other specifications of itel A100. It will be launched in three different color options. It is expected to be launched as a successor to the Itel A90, which was launched in the country last year. itel A100 will be a budget phone. This phone will support UltraLink feature.
itel A100 design and features officially teased
The Transsion Holdings sub-brand has announced the upcoming launch of itel A100 in India through a post on X. itel has not yet revealed the exact launch date, but has confirmed that the smartphone will arrive soon. The official teaser gives the first glimpse of the design and confirms that it will be available in Pure Black, Silk Green and Titanium Gold color options.
The teaser shows a phone with a flat frame and square edges. It looks like it has a matte finish. On the back, the itel A100 features a square-shaped camera module, which resembles the rear camera layout seen on the OnePlus 13s and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The camera island houses two round camera cutouts along with an LED flash. Apart from this, there is a small itel logo in the middle on the back panel.
itel has also updated a dedicated microsite on its website that gives more details about the smartphone. The itel A100 is said to have military-grade durability and a 5,000mAh battery. It will have a 90Hz refresh rate display.
The company claims that itel A100 will be the most durable smartphone in the segment priced below Rs 8,000. It will support UltraLink functionality that helps in making voice calls on select devices even in areas without cellular connectivity. It will also allow users to control home appliances through the built-in IR blaster.
The itel A100 is expected to be the successor to the itel A90. The latter arrived in May last year at a price of Rs 6,499. It runs on Unisoc T7100 chipset and has a 6.6-inch screen with Dynamic Bar feature. It has a 5,000mAh battery and a 13-megapixel main rear camera sensor.
