SIT formed, two members will be sent to Bengaluru

Samvad Sutra, Rahui (Nalanda). A sensation spread in Digambar Jain Dharamshala located in Rajgir on Friday when a strong foul smell started coming from a room. On information, DSP Sunil Kumar Singh and Police Station Head Raman Kumar reached the spot with the police force. When the door of room number six-AB was opened under the supervision of the magistrate, the scene inside was shocking. An eight-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of SDPO Sunil Kumar Singh to investigate the matter in depth. Two members of the SIT will be sent to Bengaluru to gather information about the family, financial and mental condition of the deceased.

Mother, son and two daughters found hanging

Inside the room, four members of the same family—aged mother GR Sumangala (78), son GR Naga Prasad (50) and daughters Shrutha GB (43) and Shilpa GR (48)—were found hanging. All the bodies were badly decomposed. The hands and legs of the deceased were tied and red colored tape was stuck on their mouths, which made the matter even more mysterious.

Anti-depression pills and cash recovered

During investigation by police and FSL team, 25 leaves of anti-depressant medicines were recovered from the room. Apart from this, Aadhar card, PAN card, debit card, other documents, about Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand in cash and clothes were also found. The Aadhaar cards are in Kannada language, which confirms that the deceased were residents of Karnataka.

Stayed since January 31, room was closed since February 2

According to the information, all four had reached Rajgir after visiting Nepal on January 31 and were staying in Dharamshala. He was seen in the premises till February 2, after which the room remained closed. The lack of suspicion on the part of the Dharamshala management despite the room being closed for several days is now under investigation.

Mass suicide or forced murder?

Prima facie, the case is believed to be a mass suicide, but many questions are being raised due to the tied hands and feet and taped mouth. Can a person tie his own hands and legs and hang himself? The answer to this is expected to be found in the FSL report. The dog squad also investigated, but no concrete clue was found.

Post mortem, videography from medical board

A medical board was constituted and post-mortem of the four bodies was conducted at Biharsharif Sadar Hospital. The entire process has been videographed, so that there is no mistake in the investigation at any level.

SIT formed, two members will be sent to Bengaluru

SP Bharat Soni said that an eight-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of SDPO Sunil Kumar Singh to investigate the matter in depth. Two members of the SIT will be sent to Bengaluru to gather information about the family, financial and mental condition of the deceased.

The secret of death will be revealed only after the report

At present the police have not reached any conclusion. Only after the post mortem and FSL report comes, it will be clear whether it is a mass suicide or there is some deep conspiracy hidden behind it. This matter has now become a topic of discussion in the entire state.
