Jagran correspondent, Mainpuri. The dumper collided with a high tension line pole while turning in Jagatpur village of Bichhwa area around 8 am on Saturday morning. Then the dumper caught fire due to the spark coming from the line. Soon the dumper started burning and the driver jumped to save his life.
The villagers gathered after the accident tried to extinguish the fire, but could not succeed. The fire brigade team that reached the spot controlled the fire after an hour of hard work, but by then the dumper was completely burnt.

Asphalt work is going on on Surajpur Barkheda road near village Jagatpur in Bichhwa area, for which ballast arrived from the dumper around 8 am on Saturday morning. The driver was turning the dumper to unload the ballast. Then the dumper went out of control and collided with the pole of the high tension line installed there and the spark emanating from the line fell on it. Due to which the dumper caught fire.
The fire team brought the fire under control after an hour of hard work.
As soon as the dumper started burning, the driver Heera Singh, resident of Baidpura, Etawah, jumped and saved his life. The villagers present there tried to extinguish the fire, but did not succeed and informed the police and fire department. The fire brigade team that reached the spot brought the fire under control after about an hour of hard work, but by then the dumper was completely burnt.
