14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a historic innings in the final of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026. The left-handed batsman defeated the English bowlers and scored 175 runs in just 80 balls. He hit 15 fours and the same number of sixes during his innings. India, batting first in the match, scored 411 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. The England team was all out for 311 runs. In this way, India won the title by winning the match by 100 runs.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi spoke openly about his innings in the final match. He said, 'I woke up at 4 in the morning. Yesterday I spoke to VVS Laxman sir. He had said that do not think about the century, just concentrate on what you have been doing. I believed in my style that I can contribute in big matches and that happened today. We didn't think about pressure. We just thought about how well we performed in the tournament and just followed the same process and played our natural game.
