Along with the administration, dignitaries and other people of the area are also appealing to maintain peace. On the other hand, a five-member SIT has been formed under the leadership of Pauri Police Officer to investigate the entire matter.
Let us tell you that on January 26, there was a dispute regarding changing the name of the shop in Patel Marg, after which on January 31, the workers and officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, who came from Dehradun and Haridwar, created a ruckus near the gym of Deepak Kumar, who was associated with the case. The police personnel deployed at the spot somehow pacified the matter.
After this, people from various organizations were coming to meet Deepak Kumar from other plain areas including Uttar Pradesh in support of him. People associated with the organization were also trying to highlight the issue on the internet media, which created a situation of tension in the city.
To maintain law and order, police personnel were deployed at Kauriya check post as well as on the borders of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. But, now the tension has started reducing. The police appealed to the general public and people associated with organizations for cooperation in maintaining peace. After which people associated with various organizations issued a message of restoration of peace on the internet media. After this, the situation is gradually improving.
Now a five-member SIT will investigate the tension that arose after the dispute over the name of the shop. Senior Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar has formed SIT under the leadership of Police Officer Tushar Bora to investigate the case. Senior police sub-inspector Anil Chauhan, sub-inspector Vinod Kumar, Kamlesh Sharma and Dinesh Chamoli have been included in the team.
Yeti Parmanand Saraswati arrested
Last night the police arrested Yeti Parmanand Saraswati alias Deepak Bajrangi for making inflammatory statements on social media. Have done. On Thursday he had issued a statement regarding a particular community. After his video went viral on the internet media, the police got the video removed and arrested Yeti Parmanand Saraswati.
Chandrashekhar talked to Deepak
Even though MP and Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar did not reach Kotdwar on Thursday. But, on Friday, Bhim Army state president Mehak Singh came to Kotdwar and talked to Deepak Kumar. During this time, Mehak Singh also got Deepak to talk to MP Chandrashekhar. During the talks, Chandrashekhar assured Deepak of full help. He also instructed Mehak Singh to stand with Deepak. Said that he will also honor Deepak soon.
