This rule of Railways will change from March 1, 2026, now passengers will not be able to use this special thing
New Delhi. Railway Ministry is going to stop service on UTS ticket booking app. Launched on 27 December 2014, the UTS mobile app allows passengers to book unreserved tickets including season tickets and platform tickets. Now this facility is available on some other apps also.
In such a situation, keeping the UTS app running is a loss-making deal. If till now you were using this app for general tickets and platform tickets, then it will stop from March 1.
You can also book general and platform tickets from RailOne
Existing IRCTC or UTS credentials can be used to sign in to the RailOne app. Southern Railway said that by bringing together booking, tracking, food service and complaint resolution under one roof, RailOne significantly reduces effort, saves time and improves the overall passenger experience.
During the initial phase of the UTS app closure, season ticket booking and renewal, and new user registrations were discontinued, followed by platform ticket booking and R-Wallet top-up, although the app is still available in the App Store.
According to railway officials, the concept of 'One App, All Services' is being implemented with the aim of making digital services easier and uniform. On RailOne app, reserved ticket booking, unreserved ticket, platform ticket, train information, live status, complaint registration along with other passenger facilities will be available at one place.
Appeal to download RailOne App
Railway administration has appealed to the passengers to download 'RailOne' App before March 1 and get information about it. It has been said that to avoid any kind of problem during the time of change, guidelines and helpdesk facilities will be provided by the Railways.
Overall, there will be a major change in the digital services of Railways and the chapter of UTS app will end. Now everyone's attention is on how effective the 'RailOne' super app proves to be and how convenient it is for the passengers.
