Those Injured In Accidents Along Highways And Expressways Will Get Free Treatment In Private Hospitals, 10 Big Hospitals Of Ghaziabad Named.

Madan Panchal, Ghaziabad. Those injured in accidents occurring along highways and expressways will get free treatment in private hospitals. The health department has become active after the instructions given by CM Yogi Adityanath to save the lives of people seriously injured in road accidents.

In the first phase, ten big private hospitals of the district located around the black spots identified on DME and Expressway have been designated for this. These will be expanded in the second phase. To implement this scheme, a roster of two-day training has been issued for private hospitals.

SB Tiwari will give two-day training to doctors and staff of private hospitals in this regard. The health department will bear the cost of treatment of the injured. Most road accidents occur on DME and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

This will be possible under the Central Government's Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme-2025. Under the Central Government scheme, treatment of injured persons can be done for Rs 1.50 lakh or for one week in any government or private hospital.

Injured will get free treatment in these ten private hospitals

Santosh Hospital Old Bus Stand, Manipal Hospital NH-24, Sarvodaya Trauma Center Vaishali, Yashoda Medicity Indirapuram, Max Hospital Vaishali, Ambe Hospital Shalimar Garden, Nivok Hospital Modinagar, Narendra Mohan Hospital Mohannagar Sahibabad, Vardhman Hospital Sanjaynagar.

Free treatment facility will be available in all hospitals registered with the health department.

Hapur CMO Dr. Sunil Tyagi said that the person injured in the accident is written in the government order. In such a situation, if anyone gets injured in an accident, he will get free treatment. The more injured someone is, the more treatment will be given. The injured can be admitted to any hospital in the district which is registered with the health department.

The hospital must have an operation theatre, surgeon, physician, X-ray and orthopedic surgeon. The health department team will also visit the injured during their admission and treatment.

The department will also provide information about such hospitals on highways and accident points, where trauma center service will be available as an emergency facility. 10-12 accidents occur in Hapur every month. Five to seven people are seriously injured.

Details of road accidents in Ghaziabad in last five years

The process of implementing the accidents registered on IRAD and EDAR and the main schemes jointly run by the Government of India and the State Government such as Zero Facility District and Road Safety Mitra Programme, Rahveer Scheme, Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victim Scheme has been started.

In compliance with the above instructions, 10 places have been identified as black spots, near which 10 private hospitals will be given two-day training (on 12th and 13th January) at the NIC Collectorate for IRAD, EDAR and CITrav (Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victim) scheme.
