Jagran correspondent, Meerut. The police has released a security action plan for the new year. Those who drive under the influence of alcohol and perform stunts will be sent to jail. In such a situation, if you are going to party then take the driver along. Police will check with breath analyzer. Action will be taken if alcohol is confirmed. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has issued this order fixing the police duty from Wednesday to Thursday. Women police in plain clothes and LIU team have also been deployed in public places, which are collecting information confidentially.

Police will also keep a watch on the programs organized in malls, restaurants and hotels. Programs will not be allowed to be held in hotels that do not meet the standards. Special attention will be kept on restaurants using music system from outside and those doing bike stunts. Special care will also be taken as to which liquor is being served in the New Year party. Hotel or restaurant owners must make arrangements for personal security guards, fire fighters, CCTV cameras at the event venue. You will not be able to play music system or loudspeakers anywhere after 10 pm. If complaint is received, action will be taken against the event organizer.

Police will be ready at 25 points:

In the city, checking will be started from 10 pm by installing barriers at 25 points Begumpul, Abulen, Tejgarhi, L Block, Tiraha, Budhana Gate etc. Along with this, additional policemen will be deployed in the highway and Ganganagar, Sadar, Lalkurti, Civil Lines, Medical and Nauchandi areas.

Celebrate New Year, do not affect law and order

SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said to celebrate the New Year. Police force is deployed for everyone's safety. Those found disrupting law and order and driving under the influence of alcohol will have to spend the night in jail. In case of any problem, call UP-112 and lodge a complaint.
