Three including the only son of BJP Kisan Morcha Vice President died in a horrific road accident.
- The car collided with the truck on the other side of the road after hitting the divider in Gulavathi, Bulandshahr.
- Ankit Vice President Sanjay Tyagi's son, MLC Ashwani Tyagi's uncle are among those who died.

Samvad Sutra, Gulavathi/Meerut: Late Monday night on the Meerut-Bulandshahr highway, an uncontrolled Creta car collided with a divider and collided with a truck on the other side of the road. Three people, including Ankit Tyagi of Meerut, who was traveling in the car, died in the accident. Ankit is the only son of BJP Kisan Morcha Vice President Sanjay Tyagi and nephew of MLC Ashwani Tyagi. Other deceased include Ankit's PSO and the doctor of his Drona hospital. Everyone was returning to Meerut after seeing the poultry farm. Ankit and Dr. Ashutosh were the only sons of the family.
On Monday night at around 10.30 pm, a white colored Creta car was going from Bulandshahr towards Meerut on the Meerut-Bulandshahr highway. As soon as the car reached near Chidavak Cut of Gulavathi area, suddenly the driver lost his balance. The car went out of control and jumped over the divider, reached the other side and collided with the truck. The collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. As soon as the information was received, the police and NHAI team reached the spot and with the help of local people pulled out the people trapped in the car. Police station Gulavathi, fire brigade and police from other police stations reached the spot and sent the injured to the district hospital where doctors declared all three dead. Police said that the deceased were identified as 37-year-old Ankit Tyagi, son of Sanjay Tyagi, resident of Defense Enclave of Kankarkheda police station area, his PSO Mahesh Kumar, resident of Jasnawali Khurd Kotwali, rural Bulandshahr and 38-year-old Dr. Ashutosh, resident of Dalampur of Rohta police station area. Ashutosh was a doctor at Sanjay Tyagi's Drona Hospital, Sardhana. Sanjay's father is the vice president of BJP Kisan Morcha, while uncle Ashwani Tyagi is an MLC. After the accident, the driver left the truck and ran away. As soon as the news of death was received, there was an uproar among Ankit and other relatives. Sanjay Tyagi also has Drona School in Sardhana.
Seeing the seriousness of the accident, SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh, SP City Shankar Prasad and CO Secunderabad Bhaskar Mishra reached the spot. Due to the accident, there was jam on the highway for a long time. Police had to divert traffic for some time. The police removed the damaged car and smoothed the traffic after an hour. SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh said that prima facie the accident appears to have happened due to the car going out of control due to high speed. The bodies have been sent to Bulandshahr for post-mortem. Late in the night, relatives of the three and MLC Ashwani Tyagi also reached the post mortem house. A wave of mourning ran in Ankit's village Mahadev also. There was an influx of people consoling Dr. Ashutosh's village Dalampur also.
The speed of the car was more than 120
Gulawathi: Inspector Shailendra Pratap Singh said that the way the Creta car jumped from the divider and went to the other side and collided with the truck, it is being estimated that the speed of the car at that time was more than 120 kilometers per hour. Inspector said that the police and NHAI team immediately reached the spot and took out the people trapped in the car and sent them to the hospital. It could not be known who was driving the car and who was sitting where. The inspector said that the car riders were not wearing seat belts. Airbags did open but no one's life could be saved.
