Three-year-old girl injured due to mobile battery explosion dies.
Samvad Sutra, Bhairoganj (Kushinagar). A three-year-old girl was injured in a blast that occurred while removing the battery from the mobile phone and charging it directly through the solar panel. Died during treatment at Medical College Hospital, Gorakhpur. The mobile is said to be of Lava Company. The incident took place in Kanthichhapra village of Jatahan Bazar police station.
Singhasan Prasad works abroad as a labourer. Presently in Gujarat. At home, his wife Murti Devi had taken out the battery of her mobile at around 11 in the morning and connected it with a wire to charge it from the solar panel installed in the house. She was sitting under the tin shed with her three year old daughter Srishti.
After some time, the battery suddenly fell on the girl's head with a blast. Got serious head injury. When relatives took Dhus to Ravindra Nagar District Hospital, the doctor referred him to Gorakhpur Medical College Hospital after first aid. He died after some time during treatment there.
