Jagran correspondent, Jaipur. Tigress PN-224, which was brought from Pench Tiger Reserve of Madhya Pradesh to Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve located in Bundi district of Rajasthan, has been released in the forest. The tigress was brought from the Tiger Reserve to Jaipur in an Air Force helicopter on the evening of 21 December.
From Jaipur, the tigress was taken to Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve in a closed vehicle. Since then the tigress was kept in an enclosure. After the tigress became normal, the doors of the enclosure were opened on Saturday evening.
The tigress came out of the enclosure into the open forest at 3.30 am on Sunday. The tigress's activities and health will be monitored for a few days. Along with the cameras installed in the forest, forest workers will keep a watch on the tigress. According to the information, there is a plan to bring another tigress to the tiger reserve next year.
