Tourists Will Be Able To See Lucknow By Double Decker E-bus, 10 Percent Discount Will Be Available Till January 31; It Will Start From This Day

Jagran correspondent, Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation has completed two successful mock drills of Lucknow Darshan Electric Double Decker Bus. Now the way has been cleared to start regular city tours from January 7.

The morning tour mock drill was held on January 3 and the evening tour mock drill was held on January 4. This step will provide an eco-friendly sightseeing experience to the city residents and tourists.

Lucknow Darshan Electric Double Decker Bus During the mock drill, the passengers passed through prominent areas like Kothi Hayat Baksh, Raj Bhawan and GPO, while the first major stop on the route was Vidhan Sabha Bhawan. The participants expressed happiness over the arrangement of city tour through guided tour and selected sites.

Officials from Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, Forest Department, Roadways Department and Municipal Corporation, engineering students and representatives of tour-travel agencies participated in the morning mock drill. The students reported that the experience increased their knowledge and understanding.

The evening mock drill started at 4 o'clock, which saw a large and diverse participation. 45 passengers participated, which included officials of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department with their families, representatives of Transport Department and other participants.

Passengers were seen taking pictures and videos of each other throughout the journey. At the same time, people present on the streets were also seen enthusiastically taking photographs after seeing the bus and at many places the eagerness of the public to board the bus was seen.

Light refreshments will also be provided to the passengers in the service starting from January 7. In order to attract more and more people, there will be a 10 percent discount on ticket booking till January 31.

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that the mock drill was organized as a joint effort to improve the service operations as well as the experience of passengers.
