Tractor hanging on the railing of the bridge after being hit by a speeding bus.
Jagran correspondent, Hardoi. A major accident was almost averted due to high speed and careless driving on Sitapur Over Bridge on Saturday evening. While overtaking, the private bus hit the tractor, due to which the tractor overturned and its rear wheel hung on the railing of the bridge. This is not the first incident. Many such accidents have happened before also.
Ramnaresh, a resident of Unauti village of Tadiawan police station area, was returning to the village after getting his tractor serviced at around 6 pm along with his son Vivek Pal alias Chhotu and tractor driver Shivam.
While overtaking a vehicle, a bus coming at a high speed from the front on Sitapur Over Bridge hit the tractor hard. In the accident, the tractor overturned and hung on the railing of the bridge.
Ramnaresh, Vivek and Shivam were injured. After receiving the information, police and local people reached the spot and all three were immediately sent to the district hospital.
Ramnaresh was discharged after first aid at the hospital due to minor injuries. While the treatment of Vivek and Shivam is going on. Since Shivam's condition was serious, his CT scan was also done.
