Trailer loaded with frame of train engine got stuck in Sonbhadra, long jam at Rantola turn.

Jagran correspondent Renukoot (Sonbhadra). A major accident was almost averted on Saturday at the turn ahead of Rantola railway crossing on Renukoot-Bijpur road. A trailer going from Bhilai to Varanasi, which was carrying the body of an Indian Railways engine, went out of control and got stuck on the side of the road. The rear part of the trailer went off the road. There is no information about anyone being injured in this incident.

According to the trailer driver, while trying to save a diesel tanker coming from the front at high speed, the vehicle became unbalanced, due to which the trailer got stuck on the roadside. Due to the accident, there is a traffic jam on the road for about one and a half hour. Somehow small vehicles are passing slowly, while the movement of heavy vehicles is completely disrupted.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control and called in a crane. Efforts are being made to smooth the traffic by removing the trailer, so that the jam can be ended as soon as possible. Local people say that this route, especially this turn, is very dangerous, where accidents happen every day.

People have demanded from the administration to make concrete arrangements for traffic safety here. Police station in-charge Myorpur Ram Daras Ram said that a crane has been ordered. The jam will be cleared soon. During this period, passengers and pedestrians had to face a lot of trouble. However, the administration is hopeful that soon the traffic will become completely normal.
