Digital Desk, New Delhi. In Bengaluru, a woman was attacked by a neighbour's dog while leaving home for a morning walk. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.
The incident occurred around 6:54 am on January 26, when the woman had gone out for a morning walk in Teachers Colony, HSR Layout. According to reports, the dog attacked without any provocation and bit the woman on her neck. When a man ran to save him, the dog attacked him too.
What is visible in the video footage?
The footage shows the man grabbing the dog by its neck and pulling it away from the victim. While the man was struggling with the animal, the woman somehow got up and went inside the house and closed the gate behind her.
Complaint filed against dog owner
The victim has suffered injuries on her face, hands and legs and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. The woman's husband has lodged a complaint at the HSR Layout police station, in which he has accused the dog's owner of negligence.
