Nine months later, an FIR for murder has been registered against five people including his wife in the death of an irrigation department contractor and his driver. While hearing the petition of the father of the deceased contractor, the court had ordered the Gajraula police station to register an FIR. It is alleged that the contractor's wife Rekha and her maternal family had carried out the incident.
Deepak alias Devrishi Gautam (42), son of Attarpal Singh, resident of Shuklapuri Mohalla of the city, was a contractor in the irrigation department. His second house is in Mohalla Avantikanagar, where Deepak had built his office. Inderpal (40), resident of village Chaubara, was the driver of Deepak's car. Both of them had reached their office by car on the afternoon of 28 May 2025.
It is said that he had been sitting in the car for a long time. After this Deepak got down from the car and went to his house. When the relative talked to Deepak when it was late, he told him to sleep in his office house. On the morning of 29th May, Deepak's wife Rekha called her husband but the call was not received. So Rekha sent her nephew to the office to see. Where the bodies of both were found.
The nephew had told the police and his relatives that the car was started. Inderpal's body was lying on the car seat. When he went inside the house, Deepak's dead body was found lying there. Deepak's family members reached there after receiving the information. He had accused him of murder by poisoning. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived and started investigating the incident.
No clue was found even from CCTV footage. However, the police investigation has not been completed yet. Attarpal Singh, father of contractor Deepak, had now taken refuge in the court. A petition was filed through an advocate, accusing Deepak's wife Rekha and her relatives of murder and demanding action.
Inspector in-charge Manoj Kumar said that in this case, on the orders of the court, an FIR for murder has been registered against deceased Deepak's wife Rekha Hall, resident of Mohalla Sajipura police station Sarayatreen Sambhal and Shashi, Vishal, resident of Mohalla Sultannagar, Priyanka, resident of Aurangabad, Bulandshahr and Vishal's uncle. The case is being investigated.
