Due to this the passengers remained worried. Women and elderly passengers faced a lot of trouble due to wrong information being circulated about sudden platform change of Kasganj - Shikohabad passenger.
Dense fog is now affecting train operations as well. The fog had deepened since late Monday night. Due to which Bhiwani-Prayagraj Kalindi Express got delayed on Tuesday. This train arrives at Farrukhabad railway station at 5.35 am. This train arrived here six hours and 46 minutes late at 12:21 pm. Kamakhya Express arrived here in about 35 minutes to 8:35 am. Kanpur - Anwarganj - Farrukhabad Express was delayed by 15 minutes, Lucknow - Kasganj Passenger was delayed by 30 minutes.
Other trains also ran late. Due to the late arrival of Kalindi, the passengers faced a lot of trouble. Being the only train for Prayagraj, passengers kept getting information from the station office again and again. Kasganj-Shikohabad passenger was reported to arrive at platform number four at 7.50 am. It was being shown on the same platform on the Railway app also.
Then the information of the train arriving at platform number three started being broadcast. Due to which the passengers ran away and reached platform number three. After three minutes, information was again given about Shikohabad passenger arriving on platform number four. Meanwhile, train number four arrived. Due to which the passengers again ran and reached platform number four. Due to this, elderly and women passengers suffered the most.
Assistant Station Master Nidhi Shakya, present in the station office, said that the Railways has hired employees from a private organization in the inquiry office.
