Jagran Correspondent, Etah. There is hope that the long standing demand of Trauma Center in the Medical College will be fulfilled soon. It has been decided to construct a Trauma Center with the aim of providing quick and better treatment to trauma patients. Under this, the old building in front of the post-mortem house will be demolished and a state-of-the-art trauma center will be built at the same place.
The number of patients in the medical college in cases of road accidents, serious injuries and sudden incidents is continuously increasing. Such patients require immediate specialist treatment, but due to lack of trauma centres, they still have to be referred to emergency wards or other big medical institutions. This not only results in wastage of time, but sometimes also puts the patient's life at risk.
